Paul Copp, sales manager at Grosvenor Casino says: “We have joined the Chamber 5s league for several reason. To get fit, obviously, and for teambuilding. But the main goal is to get our company name out there. With all the promotional work, photos and publicity we are getting from the Norfolk Chamber, I feel it has been a great success.
Here is a little bit about ourselves.
Paul (Sales Manager) - Team captain - Midfielder - Nickname 'Beaver'
Paul is a great Captain and works hard in the team. As well as being a great positioning player, he is a real team motivator. "Chamber 5ives is the most professionally run league I've played in and it's been fantastic advertisement for Grosvenor Casino."
Daniel (Senior Dealer) - Striker - Nickname 'Dave'
Daniel is our top striker with over 20 goals to his name in this league. He is great with both feet, which makes him an asset in our team.
Gary (Gaming Team Manager) - Striker/Midfielder - Nickname 'Woody aka the Norfolk Pele'
Gary is a fantastic player with a great strike rate of over 15 goals in this league so far. He loves football so much he plays three times a week! "Chamber 5s is fantastic, all the staff at the Norfolk FA are great and the teams are really friendly and welcoming. I can't wait for the next one."
Nathan (Senior Dealer) - Goalkeeper/Defender - Nickname 'Rob Green'
Nathan is a superb player, which showed a couple of weeks ago when he was involved in a 19-0 win!
His ‘saying’ of the tournament was "the pass back was too hard."
Lee (Host) - Goalie/Defender/Midfielder/Striker – Nickname 'Puppies'
A great all-round player with a strong work rate. He grafts hard for the team and produces some inspired bits of skill.
Ben (Customer and Dealer Support) - Defender/Midfielder -Nickname 'The Machine'
Ben's skill, stamina and determination are second to none. He shows great skill and strength in all areas of the game. "What a fantastic idea from the Norfolk Chamber. I really hope they run another league soon."
Kirk (Gaming Supervisor) - midfielder/goalie - Nickname 'Maradona'
A super sub, fantastic team player and very strong. Although he’s a big lad he could easily join the Riverdance cast! With his quick feet he can skip around players as if they weren't there. "We all hope there will be a summer league and that more and more businesses sign up. It’s is great opportunity to let everyone know who you are and what you’re about at minimal cost…while having fun."
