e-Cert eXpress are available through the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce.e-Cert enables UK exporters to apply for Certificates of Origin directly from their PCs connected to the Internet.
This is very good news for exporters looking to maintain a competitive edge in a tough international marketplace.
Certificates of Origin are essential for exporting companies to comply with customs requirements in the importing state, as well as meeting banking and other commercial criteria.
Exporters and Freight Forwarders have been able to apply for Certificates of Origin online for some time now through the application of e-Cert and a-Cert.
This system has been improved to include a database and e-Cert Xpress will allow authorised clients to apply for European Certificates of Origin online and have the digitally stamped Certificate of Origin returned for printing in their own office on the required European Certificate of Origin forms.
